Things are fuzzy looking forward as experts predict social  distancing will continue through summer. Even as businesses start to reopen, they say letting down will be a gradual process, giving way to a new normal that we can’t accurately foresee.

Sources report mass layoffs as things progress, but while New York on the East Coast is getting hit pretty hard, LA is moving forward as the first major city to offer free testing to all its residents.

Though public sports is cancelled, the first NFL virtual Draft took place this year as standout college athletes awaited news of their NFL draft assignments from home.

Beyond that, the entertainment industry is breaking new records with old stuff. That is — ratings areexploding for TV and streaming, but strangely, much of the content is classic — 80’s and 90’s centered material, including The Last Dance basketball documentary which shares intimate footage about Michael Jordan and the legendary 90’s era Chicago Bulls.

In other news, illegal streaming has gone way up, Disney is selling character-themed face masks for charity, and The Academy has changed the Oscars to include films that haven’t aired in theaters.

But by far the best news is that though many businesses and other agencies are shut down because of Covid 19, dispensaries are essential, meaning you can get approved for a medical marijuana card without leaving home through the use of telemedicine.
