YOU’VE COMPLETED YOUR APPOINTMENT WITH THE MEDICAL MARIJUANA DOCTOR AND NOW YOU NEED TO OBTAIN A COPY OF YOUR MARIJUANA CARD FROM YOUR FSST. We have provided detailed instructions on how to complete the last step of obtaining your South Dakota FSST marijuana card.
Step 1: DO NOTHING! YOUR JOB IS DONE FOR THE NEXT 24- 48HRS. The doctor is finalizing our medical chart and preparing your Flandreau Santee Santee Sioux Tribe Medical Marijuana Certification. * Please allow office at most 48hours before inquiring*
Step 2: Check Your Email! You should have received an email with the subject line: “FSST”. Attached in this email is the signed copy of your Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe Medical Marijuana Certification from the doctor. * Check Spam/ Junk Folder*
Step 3: Gather Documents! You’ll need a copy of a valid photo ID, printed copy of your signed FSST form, and your $50 application fee.
Step 4: Submitting! The FSST offers 3 options when submitting your certification/application: fax, mail, or physically submit the application to the following:
- Fax: (833) 551-0486. Please send to the attention of the FSST Cannabis Control Commission. ( If you submit by fax, you can bring the $50 application fee to the licensing location. )
- Mail: You may mail your application to 603 W. Broad Ave., Flandreau, SD 57028. ( You may submit the $50 application fee at the time of application if you submit by mail or in person with a money order to the “Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe”.)
- In Person Submission: You may bring the application to the Native Nations Dispensary at 1314 South Veteran’s Street, Flandreau, SD 57028 during its normal business hours. ( You may submit the $50 application fee at the time of application if you submit by mail or in person with a money order to the “Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe”.)
Step 5: Your Marijuana Card! Upon submission and review of the application, the FSST Marijuana Control Commission will contact you and issue you a license to purchase cannabis products on the Flandreau Santee Sioux Reservation. ** We do not have control over the speed at which the tribe issues the medical card. The FSST Tribal office can be reached at 605.997.3891**
