MICHIGAN MEDICAL MARIJUANA PROGRAM APPLICATION
The Michigan Medical Marijuana Program (MMMP) is a state registry program within the Bureau of Medical Marijuana Regulation at the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs. The program administers the Michigan Medical Marijuana Act as approved by Michigan voters on November 4, 2008. How old do I have to be get my medical marijuana carD?
Patients must me of 18 years or older to obtain a medical marijuana card. Applicants under 18 years of age must provide two doctors’ statements and their parent or guardian must provide proof of identity, residency, and parentage or legal guardianship (such as a birth certificate or court order)
How many plants can I possess?
Medical Marijuana card holdersare legally allowed to possess up to 12 plants.
How long do does a Michigan Medical Marijuana card last?
Michigan Medical Marijuana Cards are good for 2 years.
When can I renew my Michigan Medical Marijuana Card?
The earliest you can apply for renewal is 60 days prior to expiration of your medical marijuana card. The latest is 10 days before it expires.
How much can I have on me at anytime?
2.5 ounces per patient of usable marijuana.
What happens if I lose my medical marijuana card?
A patient must submit a "Request Replacement Card Form" and pay $10 to replace their medical marijuana card.
How do I become a caregiver?
A caregiver must be at least 21 years old and designated by a patient on their application form as their caregiver and fill out the caregiver portion of the application. A caregiver can provided care for up to 5 patients.
Where can I purchase Medical Marijuana?
You can purchase Medical Marijuana from provisioning centers licensed by the state of Michigan.
