After a patient has their diagnosis they can then meet with a certifying physician for medical marijuana. They must go through the evaluation process by meeting with the doctor to review medical documentation to become approved and added to the patient registry. This addition was approved in hopes to help combat patient feedback of high pricing at dispensaries across the state, and the lack of dispensaries available to patients. Three of the state\u2019s 31 medical marijuana districts, all in western Ohio, currently have no dispensaries available to patients to purchase their medication from.
