Getting your medical marijuana evaluation is now easier than ever, as My Marijuana Card is now offering telemedicine This means that, despite the quarantine restrictions imposed by Covid-19 , you can still get your medical marijuana evaluation from the comfort of your very own home.
The Michigan Cannabis Industry Association (MCIA) petitions the state to classify medical marijuana as an “essential item” and authorize physicians to certify medical patients via telemed platforms throughout the COVID-19 crisis.
Here’s a snip bit, of what the MCIA wrote in a letter to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer:
"March 22, 2020, Ohio Department of Health Director, Dr. Amy Acton, issued an official Stay at Home order. This order permits individuals to leave their residence to work for or obtain services through a healthcare and public health operation."

Ohio Dispensaries have been deemed medically essential & will not be closed during the COVID-19 social distancing period.

In an emergency decision on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, the Ohio Medical Board approved Telehealth/Telemedicine for medical marijuana recommendations and renewals in order to “provide essential health care during the COVID-19 pandemic."
