In a recent\u00a0Columbus \u00a0Dispatch opinion piece<\/a>, author Geoff Korff says expanding their existing medical marijuana program as a solution is the elephant in the room:<\/p>\n “It is, however, safe to say that none of these efforts is likely to make up the anticipated shortfall and that more cuts will be necessary unless the state can identify new sources of revenue. \u200bExpanding this program takes very little effort on the state\u2019s part relative to other strategies for generating new tax revenues \u2014 expansion is a simple legislative exercise.
